The purpose of the work is to determine the dynamic characteristics of the orbital grouping of space objects, taking into account the mobility of the attachment points on the base platform. Research methods: mathematical and computer modeling, system design, mechanics of space flight. A mathematical model has been developed for estimating the design parameters of an inflatable space platform with a payload, which includes five main modules: a module of orbital translational and angular motion, a module for determining thermodynamic and gas-dynamic parameters of an inflatable space platform, a module for determining elastic vibrations, a module for calculating strength parameters and variable inertia tensor and the module for determining the design parameters of the control system. The robustness of the angular motion control system of the space inflatable platform (SIP) based on flywheel engines and a combined system (motors and electromagnets) is shown in the analysis of the orientation and stabilization of the SIP of two geometric types: spherical and ellipsoidal. It is shown the possibility of SIP functioning in the following modes: damping of angular velocities, ensuring angular stabilization; software orientation modes and provision of initial kinematic conditions for payload separation; rough stabilization modes using a combined control system (reaction wheels and electromagnets) with a shortage of on-board electricity. The obtained results of the transient processes of the angular orientation and stabilization of the spherical and ellipsoidal SIP from the initial twist showed the controllability of the system. In turn, the ability for controlled reorientation allows to provide the necessary initial kinematic parameters for the separation of satellites and the formation of a certain grouping structure.
