The purpose of the work is the scientific substantiation and development of energy-efficient combined electric storage heaters, which allow the utilization of excess electricity during low energy consumption time. Research methods – mathematical simulation of heat exchange processes and pressure losses in a combined electric heat storage heater based on empirical dependencies for determining heat transfer and pressure losses, using CFD methods (Navier-Stokes equation for laminar flows and k-ε models for turbulent flows); experimental studies using statistical methods of planning and processing the results of these experiments; industrial research and statistical processing of the results of these experiments. A well-founded combined electric heat storage heater that allows you to change the type of air movement and energy-efficiently heat small production premises depending on the need for heat. The best materials for thermal energy storage have been determined. The highest density of heat accumulation is provided by magnesite - 1680...2323 MJ/m3. Alternative materials can be magnetite, pheolite and iron oxide ceramics, which accumulate 1%, 7% and 8% less heat per unit volume. A mathematical model of heat transfer and air movement in the air channels of the device was developed, and an appropriate scheme for laying bricks in the device was determined. The method of selection and engineering calculation of combined electric heat storage heaters for residential and non-residential premises has been developed, which allows the devices to be widely implemented in buildings of various purposes. This increases the efficiency of the electricity generation-supply-consumption system. Product Description popup.authors Lysak Oleh V Mileikovskyi Viktor O.
