Gryshka National Botanical Garden NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  Results of experimental studies of 7 genotypes of Paulownia tomentosa Steud. in the conditions of the northern part of the Right Bank Forest Steppe of Ukraine indicate that plants of various forms differ significantly in terms of morphometric, biochemical, yield, productivity and energy indicators depending on the origin of the source material. It was established that among the studied forms of Paulownia tomentosa, in terms of plant height, the length of the middle branches and the diameter of the trunk, f. PN and f. PL. It was determined that the largest length and width of the leaf plate and the size of the petiole have the plants f. PKS and f.PO. F.PO, f.PN and f. PSA It was determined that the highest content of dry matter was characterized by trunks and branches of plant forms f. PL and f. PB and leaves - f. PSA It was found that certain parts of plants (primarily leaves and young shoots) are an important source of lipids. Their highest content in plant leaves was found in f. PB, in the branches - f. PO and in the trunk - f. Mon. Forms of f. are characterized by a high content of sugars in plant trunks. PSA and F. PB, in the branches - f. PL and f. PSA, in leaves - f. PKS Plants of f. PCS, leaves - f. PL. A poplar clone 'Hairy' (P.trichocarpa Torr. Et Gray) was introduced into the in vitro culture. The optimal composition of the nutrient medium for further cultivation and regeneration from leaf and petiole explants was selected. In the absence of irrigation for 10 days in poplar 'Gulliver', suppression of AQVA and DREB gene expression was detected. With a weaker effect of the stress factor, the expression of both genes, on the contrary, is activated. Product Description popup.authors Yemets Alla I. Vergun Olena M. Hnatyuk Alla М.
