Rational reagent and cavitation-energy regimes of the developed processes were established, and their efficiency was evaluated based on the values of degrees of purification and synergistic coefficients. The sonochemical synthesis of the catalyst for the decomposition of sodium percarbonate – Fe2O3 nanoparticles was carried out, which were used to develop a new cavitation-activated advanced oxidation process based on sodium percarbonate “ultrasonic cavitation/ NH2OH·HCl/Fe2O3(nanoparticles)/Na2CO3·1,5H2O2” for the oxidative degradation of N-containing antibiotic chloramphenicol.
