The purpose of the work is the process of formation and development of the business process management system at the retail trade enterprise in Ukraine. Research methods - general scientific and special methods of scientific cognition were used: induction and deduction (to study the development of the retail market), comparative analysis (to identify bottlenecks in the management of business processes of the retail trade enterprise), economic-mathematical and economic-statistical (to assess the dynamics, identify changes, deformations of the prerequisites for the formation of a business process management system in the retail trade enterprise), graphical and matrix (for visual presentation of research data). Research methods - general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge were used: induction and deduction (to study the development of the retail market), comparative analysis (to identify problems in the management of business processes of the retail trade enterprise), economic-mathematical and economic-statistical (to assess the dynamics, identify changes, deformations of the prerequisites for the formation of a business process management system in the retail trade enterprise), graphical and matrix (for visual presentation of research data). The practical significance of the results is the theoretical substantiation and development of methodological recommendations for improving the business process management system at the retail trade enterprise.
