The results of the development and improvement of research methods of irregular bottom foundations of river structures and coastal forms under the influence of surface channel flows are described. An experimental stand was developed and created to study the methods of effective use of renewable sources of wave energy and the construction of coastal protection structures. Experimental research of the interaction of wave motion with models of permeable coastal defense structures and renewable wave energy converters was conducted. The results of numerical and experimental studies of the interaction of wave, eddy and channel flows with sea and channel hydrodynamic structures have been obtained.
