Conducted laboratory studies to determine the mineralogical features of placers of the Krasnokutskyi, Tarasivskyi, Samotkanskyi and Vovchansky deposits (EPMA and ICP MS Laser Ablation of crumbling minerals). The history of the formation and conditions of placer formation on a regional scale in the Livoberezhny, Volyn and Kharkiv placer regions has been established. A retrospective static model of the Voskresenivsk zircon-rutile-ilmenite deposit, Zlobytsk, Krasnorichensk and Poromivsk ilmenite deposits was developed. On the basis of the constructed modeling, the conditions of placer formation and the mechanism of sedimentation of ore components for these deposits were established.
