The purpose of the work is to determine the main radiation and hygienic factors of the formation of radiation doses to the population of RCT of the Kyiv region in 2022-2024 and to study their dynamics on the basis of our own experimental studies in the reference S in 2010-2024. Research methods - dosimetric, radiochemical, mathematical, statistical. The comprehensive radiation and hygienic monitoring carried out in 2022 in 8 RCT settlements of the Kyiv region showed that the annual effective doses to the population in the surveyed settlements at the current stage of the accident are formed due to internal doses that do not exceed 0.05 mSv year-1 in Ivankivska OTC and 0.20 mSv ∙ year-1 in Poliska OTC with the RCT criterion of 1 mSv year-1. A 1.7-fold decrease in annual internal doses was registered in the surveyed Polissia OTC (0.030 mSv year-1 in 2019 and 0.018 mSv year-1 in 2022), in Ivankiv OTC (1.1-fold) (0.018 mSv year-1 in 2016 and 0.016 mSv year-1 in 2019). It was established that the main factor that forms the internal exposure dose of the residents of the surveyed communities of the Kyiv region is the intake of 137Cs in the body with forest products, the content of 137Cs in which, as in previous years, significantly exceeds the permissible level (dried mushrooms by 80 times, dried berries by 12 times). The content of 137Cs in milk and potatoes is much lower than the permissible level and the consumption of these food products cannot significantly affect the formation of internal dose. The values of annual effective doses of external exposure to the population in the surveyed S are 269-317 μSv - year-1, which is slightly higher than in previous studies in 2019 (242-307 μSv - year-1), mainly due to the Polissia S.
