Purpose: to increase the effectiveness of complex treatment of cancer patients who have undergone COVID-19 by improving methods of prevention and intensive care based on the study of metabolic and energy features. Research methods and equipment: clinical-instrumental, biochemical, clinical, statistical; analyzers biochemical, immunochemical hematological; spirographic complex "Spirocom", diagnostic complex Spectrum +. Theoretical and practical results: metabolic disorders of organs and systems were found in 89.8% of cancer patients who had COVID-19. The highest frequency of development was on the 3rd-9th day after the disease. Systemic complications in patients with COVID-19 have been identified: respiratory damage in 89,2% of cases, cardiac complications in 63,1%, cerebral in 53,7%, urinary and digestive systems in 41,2% and 37,2%, respectively. Novelty: for the first time it was proved that in COVID-19 the immune system participated in the formation of an adaptive response, at the beginning of the disease (2-5 days) the phenomena of an overactive response were observed, followed by a hypoactive immune response (8-10 days), and as a consequence the development of a systemic inflammatory response syndrome, the generalization of which was realized by activated immunocompetent cells.
