The developed biosensors were tested for the analysis of ethanol and glucose in real samples of both grape must and wine. The results are in good agreement with those obtained using enzymatic kits as controls. The developed biosensors were also tested for catechol analysis in real communal wastewater samples. The analysis of real samples showed the absence of any interfering effect of raw wastewater compounds on biosensor analysis. The slope for the calibration of raw wastewater under the "standard addition mode" is quite similar to the slope of the calibration curve obtained for the standard solution of catechol, which indicates the high accuracy of the biosensor analysis of real communal wastewater samples.
