Probing was conducted at frequencies of 37 GHz and 36 GHz. These experiments showed that the use of microwave refraction makes it possible to measure the density of the plasma in its separate layers when it is impossible to probe the plasma formation through. The microwave refraction method was used to determine the local inhomogeneities of the rotating plasma. The method is based on the spectral-correlation analysis of reflected signals from the surface of a rotating plasma with normal and inclined incidence of microwaves.
