The object of the study is the ventilation of mining areas under the conditions of the State Enterprise «Lvivvugillia». The purpose of the work is to develop "Recommendations for ensuring dust and gas safety of coal mining operations in pit № 143 of the n7n "Sokalskyi" layer and operation of the VMCG-7M camera when releasing into the ventilation stream air entering for their ventilation, the output ventilation stream of air from the dead-end production of 145 conveyor belts". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the ventilation schemes of the mining area of lava No. 143 of layer n7n "Sokalskyi" of the "Stepova" mine of the State Enterprise «Lvivvugillia» were analyzed. "Recommendations for ensuring dust and gas safety of coal extraction works in pit No. 143 of the n7n "Sokalskyi" layer and operation of the VMCG-7M camera, located in pit № 11, when releasing into the ventilation stream the air entering for their ventilation, the outlet ventilation air jet from the dead-end working 145 of the conveyor belt of the n7n formation "Sokalskyi". The results of the development implementation - the application of the developed recommendations made it possible to ensure gas safety during mining operations, which is of great socio-economic and ecological importance.
