It is shown when the crystal thickness is of the same order as the dechanneling length, the shape of the spectrum depends significantly on this length. A method of experimental evaluation of the dechanneling length based on the measurement of the spectrum of ionization energy losses is proposed. The radiation by ultrarelativistic positrons under planar channeling for crystal thicknesses smaller the formation length of the emitted photons was studied. It is shown that oscillations of positrons during channeling lead to a periodic dependence the spectral density of radiation on the thickness of the target. For above-barrier motion such a periodic dependence exist for both positrons and electrons. It is shown that an increase of the angular divergence of the positron beam leads to an emphasis of the considered effect, but doubles the period of change of the radiation spectral density with the target thickness. The energy ranges of particles and photons are estimated for which the effect is observed.  Product Description popup.authors Бойко Вадим Віталійович Bondarenco Mykola V Bulyak Evgen V. Gann Ganna V.
