The subject of the research is the normative legal acts of Ukraine and the legislation of the European Union. The research methodology is a combination of philosophical and worldview, general scientific and special scientific methods of cognition, which ensured an objective analysis of the subject and the reliability of the obtained results. Formal-logical, comparative-legal, systemic-structural and other research methods were also used. The purpose of the study is to reveal the conformity of normative legal acts of Ukraine with the legislation of the European Union and to develop recommendations for their improvement. The scientific and practical value of the research lies in the fact that the authors offer optimal ways of adapting the normative legal acts of Ukraine to the legislation of the European Union. The result of such adaptation will be the fulfillment of Ukraine's strategic foreign policy course and international obligations. The practical significance of the work is that the conclusions and provisions presented in it can be implemented in the educational process when updating lectures on the course of European Union law, as well as certain branches of domestic law. The result of the implementation of the NDR is a series of scientific and methodical recommendations developed and issued to ensure the formation of legal competences necessary for solving professional tasks by employees of the legal sphere in the conditions of European integration transformations.
