An experimental measurement of the content of trace elements in the tissues of malignant tumors of the large intestine was carried out. According to the results of the research, trace elements are divided into three groups depending on their participation in the process of carcinogenesis. For the first time, the XRD method was used for the study of a shrapnel wound using a non-standard wavelength range. It has been established that the oxidation of a foreign body in the body to the formation of a lower FeO oxide takes place within several months. With increasing time, there is a transition to the intermediate oxide Fe3O4 and, finally, to the higher oxide Fe2O3. An application for the issuance of a Ukrainian patent for a method of determining biological materials has been submitted. The article is prepared for publication in journals with the Q2-Q4 quarter.
