The subject of the study is the impact of equipping the 750/330 KV VRU territory of the NPP with the required number and type of primary fire extinguishing equipment on ensuring its fire safety. The purpose of the work is to determine the required number and type of primary fire extinguishing means to ensure fire safety in the territory of the VRU 750/330 kV VP of the NPP. Research methods: analytical, theoretical, systematic. Based on the results of the research, the state of fire safety of the territory of the VRU 750/330 KV VP of the NPP was established; management solutions were developed to optimize the number of completed fire shields on the territory of the VRU 750/330 KV VP of the NPP; the area of the fire center that will develop at the time of the start of extinguishing it with the help of primary fire extinguishing means is predicted; the maximum distance to the fire shields was established, the minimum permissible number of fire shields on the territory of the VRU 750/330 KV VP of the NPP was determined, and their configuration was determined. Based on the results of the research, proposals have been developed regarding the provision of the territory of the 750/330 KV VRU of the VP Kha NPP with primary fire extinguishing means, which will be taken into account in the regulatory and production documents of the VP NPP.
