The object of the study: harmonized technical specifications (European harmonized standards (EN)) of construction products - lime, aggregates made of natural stone, aggregates for the ballast layer of the railway track, ceramic and natural stone wall stones, modular tiles made of natural stone, building solutions, cement, as well as current national standards and other regulatory documents related to the determination of levels and classes of operational characteristics in relation to the essential characteristics of the above-mentioned construction products Purpose of the work: performance of standardization work by establishing provisions for general and repeated use regarding existing or potential tasks aimed at achieving the optimal degree of orderliness in the field of architecture and construction regarding the operational characteristics of building materials. Scientific and technical development was carried out for the first time. Work results. On the basis of the analysis of existing regulatory and technical documents, technical literature, the results of scientific research and the experience of using current national standards, a translation method was developed with an identical degree of compliance of 11 national standards (hereinafter - ND) regarding the operational characteristics of building materials.
