Yanovsky National academy of medical sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2  Object – 68 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, 20 healthy individuals. The aim of the work is to increase the efficiency of diagnostics of toxic-allergic reactions (TAR) of drug intolerance to anti-tuberculosis drugs (ATD) in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and to determine ways of their correction. Methods – clinical, immunological, statistical. It was found that the development of TAR is associated with: the largest number of increased indicators of liver function. In contrast to only allergic reactions, in TAR there is no suppression of the blood lymphocytes and phagocytes function; expression of lymphocyte sensitization to ATD is a significantly weaker; there is no correlation between the level of IgE in the serum and the level of tryptase, that indicates the genesis perhaps pseudoallergic. The lymphocyte count (LC), which reflects the activity of the immune system, is defined as a marker of manifestations of TAR to ATD. Lymphocyte-hepatic coefficient (LHC) reflects the imbalance of the immune and hepato-biliary systems of organism. There are toxic-allergic coefficients (TAC): TACRSE is based on the erythrocyte sedimentation reaction (ESR); the hypersensitivity coefficient TACHC reflects the reaction of blood cells to specific ATD. Also, the tests-markers of the double toxic-allergic effect are the tests of definition of sorption capacity of erythrocytes (SCE) and release of potassium ions (RPI), the frequency of decrease (toxic effect) and increase (allergic effect). A method of treatment of TB patients with signs of TAR to ATD consists in prescribing the drug Hepatomunil, and allows to restore the functions of hepatocytes by increasing the functional activity of phagocytes. The technology for diagnosis of TAR to ATD was developed for patients with TB; its application allows to increase the accuracy of TAR diagnostics by 14.3% in comparison with the clinical and anamnestic method. Field of application – phthisiology, pulmonology, immunology.
