During the execution of the work, a systematic analysis of the promising directions of the development of nuclear energy, types and features of the use of new-generation reactor facilities was performed, and the main physical and technical problems of implementing new technologies in the main equipment of new-generation nuclear power units were systematized. With the help of a study of the current state, prospects for the development of nuclear technologies in the world and the influence of the uncertainty of various factors in the case of a comprehensive comparative analysis of various nuclear energy technologies, the scientific and technical and economic bases for the optimal selection of the main equipment of prospective nuclear installations have been developed. Scientific and scientific-practical results in the form of multi-criteria methodological recommendations on the optimal choice of promising nuclear energy technologies for the main equipment of nuclear installations have been implemented in the State Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company (SE NNEGC) "Energoatom", which allows developing the energy industry of Ukraine due to the use of nuclear installations that meet international safety requirements.
