They are suitable for the development of Schottky diodes if controlling the defect-impurity composition and the level of structural perfection. The physical principles of operation of Schottky diodes based on HPHT-diamond single crystals using {100} and {111} growth sectors, the influence of defect-impurity composition on operating characteristics, methods of providing ohmic contacts and Schottky barriers are considered. The technological, magnetic and electrical properties of the obtained grinding powders were determined. Diamond grinding powders differing among themselves in the amount of trapped metal-solvent (from 90.3×10-8 to 8.8×10-8 m3/kg), and therefore magnetic properties, were obtained after mechanical and ultrasonic treatment of diamond grains and their magnetic sorting at an intensity of 5 to 20 E. The technology for the synthesis of nitride glass and the creation of highly efficient diamond-containing composites based on it and intended for the production of elite grinding disks has been developed. The regularities of changes in the indicators of diamond proofing of ceramic balls from B4C and Si3N4, which are responsible for the productivity and accuracy of processing, were established, and linear or nonlinear approximation models of these indicators were obtained.
