In today's conditions, with the active development of the aviation industry, the environment, especially water bodies, suffer from excessive pollution with toxic components. Airports and aircraft repair plants are one of the biggest sources of chemical pollution of the hydrosphere, when ensuring air transport processes. Ground, underground and surface waters located near enterprises of this type contain a significant amount of organic pollutants, heavy metals, oil products that enter them as a result of technological operations for the repair and maintenance of aircraft, as well as due to the movement of vehicles on the territory data enterprises. These substances accumulate in water bodies and threaten the normal functioning of living organisms that are there. Because of this, in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment and prevent its pollution, the issue of improving the development of the soil condition monitoring system on the territory of the airport and in the areas adjacent to the airport is urgent. The purpose of the work was the need to carry out scientific research on the ecological state of man-made territories of aviation enterprises and the need to systematize existing data on modern methods of biotesting of soils contaminated by the products of the operation of aviation enterprises.
