The purpose of the research is to develop a model of the use of psychological technologies for providing assistance to police officers after their stay in extreme situations. The object of the research is psychological assistance to an individual who was in extreme situations. The subject of the research is psychological technologies for providing assistance to police officers after their stay in extreme situations. Research methods. Theoretical methods: analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization, interpretation of the received data of scientific literature on psychological traumatization of the individual in combat conditions and legal documents regulating psychological assistance. Analytical methods: the study of domestic and foreign experience in the study of psychological assistance of the individual, analysis of directive, regulatory and methodical documents. Empirical methods: as part of conducting an empirical study of the structure of psychological assistance to an individual, a psychodiagnostic complex of nine methods was applied. Obtained results: methodical recommendations have been prepared dedicated to the study of psychological technologies for providing assistance to police officers after their stay in extreme situations. The model of providing psychological assistance to police officers is presented, the characteristics of psychodiagnostic methods of determining their psycho-emotional state are described, and psychological technologies of assistance are systematized, aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of psycho-prophylactic work and psychological support of personnel. The material contains recommendations that can be used in the activities of psychologists of psychological support units of the National Police of Ukraine, scientists and teachers, as well as cadets (students) of higher education institutions with specific learning conditions.
