Based on the analysis of the most modern foreign experience in the preparation of paper literary encyclopedias and the world's leading literary sites, the conceptual principles of the creation of the scientific printed publication "Ukrainian Literary Encyclopedia" and the Internet site "Ukrainian Literary Encyclopedia" were determined.
