This is a set of extractive industries, enterprises generating electricity and heat, facilities for their storage, accumulation and transportation, consumers of energy resources, which together carry out the production, supply and consumption of energy in the country's economy. The work objective is to develop forecast variants of the energy supply structure of the country under the global trend of renewable energy development and related significant changes in the world markets of traditional fuels, under the conditions of energy security, compliance with European environmental standards of the fuel and energy complex, taking into account technological requirements for the integration of renewable energy sources into energy supply systems. The main research methods are economic and mathematical modeling, models of production type and interproduct balance, system analysis. The analysis of the current state of electricity generation capacities in the UES of Ukraine is performed, possible scenarios of the domestic energy sector development are considered, taking into account the specifics of RES implementation in the country, information sources of energy supply modeling are described, the main forecast indicators of primary and secondary energy resources supply are presented. The structure was developed, the output and input coefficients of the production-type model were calculated according to the nomenclature of the product energy balance of Ukraine, which allowed to determine the mutually agreed and balanced volumes of production and supply of energy carriers using the minimum volume of open information sources regulated by the current legislation of the country.
