The main theoretical approaches to understanding the conceptual category of "social practice" in the context of modern socio-cultural transformations, its correlation with the concepts of "social space", "social action", "social interaction" within different scientific schools are analyzed. The influence of decentralization on the transformation processes in Ukrainian society is characterized. The features of the electoral process in the context of expanding the powers of local governments are determined. The influence of social splits on the differentiation of the electoral space and the peculiarities of structuring the political preferences of residents of the southern regions of Ukraine are analyzed. The issues of socially responsible policy formation at the regional level, the external and internal dimension of social responsibility of local self-government bodies, the main stakeholders and the constituent elements of social responsibility within communities, the experience of the Mariupol community are studied. The features of the functioning of social institutions under the conditions of temporary occupation are investigated. The concept of "collaborationism", the socio-political factors that influence it, the peculiarities of the functioning of such social institutions as the financial system and education under occupation are characterized. The main tools of information arrest, the role of new media in this process, the main mechanisms of protection in the conditions of information warfare are studied. The concept of "local identity" and the changes that are taking place in approaches to understanding identity in modern realities are analyzed. The main threats to identity in the conditions of temporary occupation and mechanisms of its preservation are identified, the experience of the Mariupol community is studied.
