The goal of the RW is to reveal the current state of the faunal block of natural and artificial biogeocenoses of the Steppe zone of Ukraine, the peculiarities of its interaction with limited components of natural and anthropogenically transformed ecosystems. Research methods are ecological-faunistic, zoological, soil science, physiological-biochemical. The state of the faunal block of natural and artificial biogeocenoses, its interaction with individual components of various ecosystems and preservation of biological diversity in natural and anthropogenically transformed territories was determined.The task was completed: the peculiarities of the nature of anthropogenic influence on the faunal complexes of various ecosystems of the Steppe zone of Ukraine were determined; structural and functional changes occurring in faunal complexes under the action of various types of anthropogenic influences in natural and artificial ecosystems are determined; directions and scales of invasions of adventive species of animals in the Steppe zone of Ukraine were clarified.
