Purpose: analysis of medical and demographic indicators of the state of health of the population of radioactively contaminated territories for 1979–2020. Monitoring regions: Lugynskyi, Narodytskyi, Ovrutskyi and Olevskyi districts of Zhytomyr region, Vyshgorodskyi, Ivankivskyi and Poliskyi districts of Kyiv region, Rokytnivskyi and Sarnenskyi districts of Rivne region , Kozeletsky and Ripkinsky districts of Chernihiv region. General scientific, theoretical, comparative analysis, demographic, mathematical-statistical, software-technological, graphic methods were used. Signs of negative and positive changes in 2020 compared to 1979 have been identified both in radioactively contaminated territories and in the country as a whole or in relevant regions. In particular, eight out of eleven districts experienced population declines, which is in line with trends in most study areas and the state. On the other hand, in the Rokytniv and Sarnen districts, a growing trend was observed, which gradually slowed down. The Vyshgorod district differs from the above-mentioned districts in the overall population growth trend during the study period. The birth rate is decreasing everywhere, and compared to Ukraine, the study areas in 2020 have similar (Olevsky district), larger (Ripkynskyi, Ivankivskyi, Luhynskyi and Ovrutskyi districts) and smaller (Polyskyi, Rokytnivskyi, Sarnenskyi, Kozeletskyi, Vyshhorodskyi, Narodytskyi districts) percentage values of the absolute loss compared to the level of 1979. A reduction in infant mortality and stillbirths was revealed. The nationwide negative trend towards the growth of mortality in the dynamics of observation did not bypass the study areas. The localization and concentration of data indicate the similarity of trends in the study areas only at the beginning and at the end of Product Description popup.authors Zasoba Yana Yuriivna Korotkova Natalia Viktorivna Kukush Оleksandr G.
