The subject of research is eigenmodes and the scattering field of metasurfaces with a cluster element. The goal of the work is to develop theoretical foundations (study methods and mathematical models) for expanding functionality, improving the characteristics of known and creating new metaphotonics devices based on cluster and/or topological metasurfaces. The research methods are the finite element method, the group-theoretical approach, multidipole decomposition, the method of integral equations and the theory of artificial dielectrics. The results of the work: the conditions for the excite of resonance on a trapped mode in a metasurface with a separate disk on a period were investigated; the coupling between the bianisotropy of the dielectric particle forming the metasurface and the appearance of resonances in the trapped mode was revealed; a group-theoretical approach to the analysis of cluster resonance modes and clusters of metasurfaces was developed; the peculiarities of the resonances on a trapped mode in a metasurface with a trimer are investigated; the annapole resonance in such a structure was discovered and it was proved that it is polarization insensitive. A model of a composite with spherical inhomogeneous scatterers has been built and the parameters that achieve perfect matching of the composite with free space have been determined.
