The high quality of seed material is an important condition for high yields of agricultural crops, which is determined by the physiological and biochemical processes in the seeds and the technical means for its preparation. The lack of effective calibration of seed material due to general accounting for its properties, the lack of activation of physiological and biochemical processes in seeds, subject to environmental safety, creates a problem and requires appropriate research. A technology has been proposed with intensification of seed calibration processes according to a complex of features, processing with electromagnetic radiation. Mathematical models of seed movement in the working areas of the innovative pneumatic separating channels and vibrating sieves of the seed cleaning machine have been developed, the channel of electromagnetic seed cleaning machine; theory of electromagnetic radiation influence on biological processes of seeds. Regularities of changes in the velocity components of seed mixtures have been established taking into account the parameters of new working organs and the complex of seed mixtures properties. The influence of electromagnetic radiation modes on the initial stages of growth and development of crops was studied. The effects of electromagnetic radiation (incoherent monochromatic radiation of the red range) on sowing and marketable qualities of seeds have been studied. The mechanisms of electromagnetic radiation influence on metabolic processes of seeds have been investigated. The implementation of reasonable technical measures allows to obtain high-quality seeds with improved properties at low operating costs.
