Belbin's Group Role Questionnaire (OGR), O. Eliseyev's Motivation Structure Questionnaire (OSM), Semantic Differential Method (SDM). The object of the study is psychological diagnosis of the personality of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the methods of psychological diagnosis of the personality of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Research methods. A set of complementary methods is applied: theoretical - analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, systematization, study and analysis literature on the problem of research and the regulatory and legal framework of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; empirical - questionnaire survey, psychodiagnostic methods, expert evaluation, semi-standardized individual interviews (for studying the specifics of official activity, practical approval of measures with improvement of the personnel selection system; establishing the effectiveness of the work performed); statistical - correlation analysis, reliability analysis of differences in mean values based on Student's t-test, latent structural analysis. Obtained results: methodical recommendations have been prepared devoted to the issue of Ukrainian-language adaptation of valid and reliable foreign psychodiagnostic methods in order to optimize the system of professional psychological selection and appointment of personnel of the National Police of Ukraine. Ukrainian-language texts of questionnaires and tests for the study of the motivational sphere of personality, personal characteristics, peculiarities of interpersonal interaction, etc. are presented.
