The purpose of the work is to study the electrical anisotropic properties of the fabric, determined by its structure, and to develop, based on the obtained data, a device for controlling the deformation of the fabric. Research methods - theoretical analysis of the behavior of the influence - object - transducer system, in which the object (tissue) is considered as a spatial lattice with a structure that is periodically repeated and which is characterized by general features of tissues such as orthogonality, discreteness, two-dimensionality and symmetry. To process the experimental data, the packages of programs "Matlab", "Simulik", "CurveExpert", "STADIA" were used. During the final processing on the textile finishing machinery, violations of its orthogonal structure (weft skew) and fabric stretching along the warp thread occur in the fabric. These deformations significantly worsen some of the finished fabric. Since the deformation of the fabric leads to a violation of the symmetry of its anisotropic properties, including electrical properties, the control of this symmetry will allow correcting the skew of the fabric and maintaining the shrinkage within the required limits. The symmetry of the anisotropic characteristics of the fabric is determined by the symmetry of its orthogonal structure, which is formed by the interweaving of warp and weft threads. For conducting research, an experimental device was developed for non-contact control of the electrical conductivity of the fabric samples under study. The results obtained during the research confirm the possibility of creating a non-contact sensor for monitoring fabric deformations.
