The aim of the study is the scientific substantiation of ways to implement EU and NATO (FRONTEX, UNIFIER) standards in the system of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine personnel education and training. The scientific and research work contains theoretical and methodological principles of the border guard specialists professional training in the European Union. It determines the essence and content of unified training standards, reveals the training features, and classifies European border agencies by the type of personnel training. The work describes the characteristics and methodology for the development of the Sectoral Qualifications Framework for Border Guarding. According to the results of the study is highlighted the process of the Unified European Border Guards Training Program implementation in the practice of the Ukrainian border guard agency personnel training. It is developed a structural and functional model of European border guard specialists training and conducted a comparative analysis of border guard specialists training in the EU and Ukraine. The current trends in the border guard specialists training in the EU countries are identified and substantiated and the directions of the SBGS personnel training based on their experience are determined. The scientific and research work is intended for scientific and pedagogical workers, officer's and pedagogical staff, specialists in the field of theory and methodology of professional education, heads of higher education institutions with specific training conditions, students, cadets, and scientists who study the peculiarities of law enforcement officials' professional training in the European context.
