Objectives: experimental investigation of the mixing enthalpy of liquid alloys of the Co–Cu–Hf and Co–Ti–Zr systems at 1873 K and Co–Ti–Hf at 1900 K; theoretical modeling of temperature-concentration dependence of thermodynamic properties of Co–Cu–Hf, Co–Ti–Zr, and Co–Ti–Hf liquid alloys; development of a new thermodynamic assessment of the Co–Ti system and preparation of a data set for conducting a thermodynamic description of the Co–Hf system within the framework of the CALPHAD method. Methods: high-temperature calorimetry; modeling of thermodynamic properties of phases in the framework of mathematical models and models of the associated solution, CALPHAD-method for calculations of phase equilibria. Results: the mixing enthalpy of the liquid alloys of Co–Cu–Hf and Co–Ti–Zr systems at 1873 K and Co–Ti–Hf at 1900 K were experimentally investigated for the first time; the temperature-composition dependence of the thermodynamic properties of melts of the Co–Cu–Hf, Co–Ti–Zr, and Co–Ti–Hf systems was determined for the first time; within the framework of the CALPHAD method, a new thermodynamic assessment of the Co–Ti system was developed and a new version of the phase diagram of the system, coordinates of equilibrium nonvariant phase transformations, and thermodynamic properties of the system phases were calculated; data on the thermodynamic properties of liquid alloys, intermetallic compounds, and phase equilibria in the Co–Hf system are prepared for a new thermodynamic assessment of the system within the framework of the CALPHAD method. Range of application: investigations in the field of physicochemical theory of liquid alloys and phase equilibria; development of new technologies for the synthesis of amorphous and high entropy alloys; research and development in the field of chemical and physical materials science.
