The fundamentals of designing the new broadband electroacoustic paths for medical devices have been developed. Theoretical substantiation of the broadband automated portable electroacoustic hardware and software complex was carried out. A diagnostic method has been developed, which is based on the acoustic impact on the patient's middle ear and the measurement of the main parameters of the ear, which are used to diagnose the state of his auditory system. For the first time, it was proposed to measure as parameters of the middle ear the coefficient of reflection of the sound pulse from the tympanic membrane as a function of frequency, with subsequent transformation into a dimensionless parameter - the norm factor of the middle ear, which is a combination of the flexibility of the tympanic membrane, the active component of the impedance of the middle ear at the resonant frequency, and volume of the tympanic cavity.
