The purpose of the work: ensuring the preservation and functioning of the state primary standards of measurement units and the linear geodetic polygon, which are stored in the NSC "Institute of Metrology" and are classified as scientific objects that are national property. Research method: analysis of the fulfillment of the conditions of preservation and proper functioning of the state primary standards and the linear geodetic polygon of the NSC "Institute of Metrology". Results of the work: constant readiness of state primary standards and linear geodetic polygon for use as intended. The results of the work are used during the transfer of the dimensions of measurement units to the existing measuring equipment (hereinafter referred to as measuring equipment) operated in Ukraine by enterprises, organizations and institutions of the production and non-production spheres, science and defense in accordance with the normative documents on metrology in force in the state. The scope of application is the national metrological service. Predictive assumptions regarding the development of research objects: every year, new state primary standards are created and existing ones are improved. It is necessary to ensure their preservation and operability. Considering the uniqueness of the state primary standards and the linear geodetic polygon of the NSC "Institute of Metrology" and the fact that the state standards are exclusively state property and the entire system of ensuring the unity of measurements in the country rests on them, it is necessary to carry out this NDR in the next year as well.
