The purpose of the work: construction of the theory of wave processes and effects in layered, waveguide and focusing, complex and active artificial and natural environments; detection of new wave structures and effects arising from resonant, active and nonlinear synergistic processes; finding the possibilities of effective control over wave processes in resonant artificial environments; determination of factors affecting the characteristics of waves in the open dynamic system of the ZNPS. Research methods: a unified metamaterial approach for modeling waves in artificial and natural environments, analytical and numerical methods, analysis of ground and satellite measurements, spectral data processing. At the third stage, a developed metamaterial approach was used, the author's method of nonlinear evolution equations for wave processes in layered media (explained in a monograph on the topic published by the Institute of Physics, Bristol, UK, 2022); the developed analytical and numerical models were verified and used, including for electromagnetic waves in active nonlinear hyperbolic metamaterials in the infrared and terahertz ranges; very and ultra-low-frequency (DLF, ULF) electromagnetic waves and AHC in the system Earth - Earthly Plasma Environment; new nonlinear wave structures were found, a new phenomenon (threshold jump of the focusing area) and the synergistic effect of absorption of the next pulse in hyperbolic active nonlinear cylindrical field concentrator and flat-layered active medium, respectively.
