It is shown that the presence of a weak large-scale electric field and slow drifting motions of the plasma are the main factors of instability. In a semi-empirical model of the solar atmosphere, kinetic Alfvén and kinetic ion-acoustic waves are generated during the linear stage of plasma instability. For the first time, a comprehensive study of flapping-oscillations of the current layer in the tail of the Earth's magnetosphere was conducted. Measurements from the Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission (MMS) were analyzed for two flapping-events with different morphologies of oscillation behavior: steady-state-like and breaking-type. A comparison of the results calculated by the methods of phase difference, wave measurements and the multipoint signal resonator technique was carried out. Using observations, it was established for the first time that the energy distribution of a wave-like magnetic field contains complex multi-branch dispersions. A hydrodynamic model of the solar magnetic cycle has been developed, which uses helioseismological data on the differential rotation of the Sun's convective zone. The model is based on the hypothesis of the emergence of global currents due to the loss of stability of the differentially rotating plasma layer in the convective zone. Hydrodynamic global plasma flows are calculated. It is shown that the found solutions describe all global currents observed on the surface of the Sun: constant meridional circulation from the equator to the poles, torsional oscillations and space-time variations of the meridional current.
