Research subject: The research subject of the substantiation of the parameters of the separation process and the influence of structural and technological parameters on the separation process. The purpose of the work is theoretical research and development of methods and structures to increase the efficiency, productivity and reliability of machines for separating grain materials. Research methods – Theoretical studies were performed using the basic principles of theoretical mechanics, the theory of nonlinear oscillations, mathematical statistics, the theory of continuous and heterogeneous media, and the continuous hydrodynamic model. The work derives dependencies that make it possible to establish the dependence of the separation process on loading, the distribution of loading and underloading zones, and their impact on the productivity and efficiency of the separation process. The dependence of the grain flow rate on the thickness of the grain layer and its effect on the performance of the separator were established. Functional dependencies between the determining parameters of the process of vibropneumocentrifugal separation of grain material by seed density and structural and kinematic parameters of the vibropneumocentrifugal separator were obtained. The effectiveness of the application of the improved mechanical-mathematical model during the selection of rational operating parameters of the vibropneumatic centrifugal separator is proven.
