The purpose of the development is to development the physico-chemical basis of the synthesis of nanostructured metal oxide compo-sites as catalytic materials for converters for reagent-free neutralization of natu-ral, synthetic and man-made toxicants, intended for arranging filter ventilation systems of stationary objects and vehicles, reducing toxic emissions of transport engines due to in-cylinder catalysis, as well as obtaining new knowledge for the development of high technologies in Ukraine. Research methods and equipment – linear and cyclic voltammetry, X-ray fluorescence and X-ray structural phase analysis, methods of polarization resistance, impedance spectroscopy and gra-vimetry, scanning electron microscopy. Novelty – development of the theoretical foundation of the latest scientific concept of creating materials and coatings with heterooxide composites and synergistic alloys with high activity in heterogene-ous, electro- and photocatalytic reactions by means of electrochemical materials science. The effectiveness of the newly implemented - the use of developed mate-rials will allow to equip filter-ventilation installations on armored objects and long-term use systems, to create catalytic neutralizers and mobile modules for re-agent-free neutralization of toxicants of various origins, which create safe condi-tions for the functioning of vital objects and mobile military and civilian vehicles , especially in areas of local conflicts with a significant level of technogenic pollu-tion of air and water basins, as well as toxic emissions from transport engines.
