The scientific and methodological principles of designing and implementing STEM education in the system of general secondary education as a pedagogical technology are defined and theoretically substantiated; the state of development of the problem of "scientific-methodical support for the introduction of STEM education technology in gymnasiums", psychological and pedagogical aspects of STEM education was studied and revealed; digital educational assets: formation and use in the educational process; theoretical and practical aspects of STEM education in Ukraine and abroad; peculiarities of STEM education as an educational reference point in updating innovative technologies of educational institutions; STEM-educational activity of the interactive museum of science of the Academy of Sciences; formation of STEM-skills in education seekers; cloud-oriented technologies as a modern tool for organizing the educational process in the conditions of STEM education"; STEM modeling in the teaching of fundamental and professionally oriented disciplines in educational institutions of various levels; the structure of pedagogical activity in the process of implementing STEM education is defined; theoretical aspects and motivational factors of teacher preparation for the implementation of STEM education; the content of integration processes in the preparation of teachers to work with pedagogical STEM technology; psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of students' mental activity in the STEM education system; the role of the teacher's personality in the STEM education system; the role and peculiarities of teachers' readiness for innovative activities in the conditions of implementation of digital and STEM education; an integrative toolkit of digital and STEM methods was selected and developed in order to provide scientific and methodological support for the humanitarian examination of teachers' readiness for innovative activities.
