The relationship between the content of trace elements and the physical and chemical properties of the studied soils was established. Using the method of successive extractions, the forms of chemical elements in the main types of soil deposits were determined. When studying the content of trace elements in natural waters of the studied territory, their biologically significant concentrations were determined. Using the method of thermodynamic modeling, data on the migration forms of chemical elements in potable groundwater of different chemical composition were obtained. The regularities of the distribution of trace elements in the objects of urban agglomerations of the studied territory were studied. The specifics of retention, form of finding and migration of chemical elements of technogenically polluted soils (on the example of a solid household waste disposal site) were studied. In order to obtain the background contents of essential elements, the territories of the reserves were additionally investigated (on the example of Nizhnyosulskyi National Nature Park). New approaches to landscape biogeochemical zoning of the territory of Ukraine are formulated, based on domestic and modern foreign methods. The results of the study can be used in forecasting the processes of accumulation of essential elements in plant coenoses, which is an important component of modeling the geoecological state, as well as for the normalization of anthropogenic load on the territory.
