Laboratory set-up of QCM-based chemosensory system capable to work in the liquid medium has been created. Sensory structures covered with sensitive films of inherently chiral calix[4]arenoacetic acid derivatives modified on the lower rim of the macrocycle with alkyl groups of different sizes and lengths were fabricated. The ability of these calixarenes for enantioselective detection of L- and D-forms of amino acids is shown, i.e., the synthesized compounds can be promising as receptors of chemosensors capable of recognizing enantiomers of amino acids and peptides built on their basis.
