O.M. Luk'yanova of National academy of medical sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 The object of the study: fetuses and newborns with normal development, vital and lethal congenital malformations (CM). The subject of the study: prenatal diagnosis of provisional organs (PO). Research methods: clinical, statistical, 2D and 3D, Doppler ultrasound (US) scanning of the fetus, invasive procedures with cytogenetic analysis of the obtained material; general histological, immunohistochemical, electron microscopic studies of placenta biopsies. Postnatal echocardiography, neurosonography, ultrasound of abdominal organs and organs of the retroperitoneal space. Equipment: ultrasound scanners ACCUVIX V20EX-EXP, ACCUVIX V10LV-EX, ACUSON X300, MyLabTwise. An analysis of the structure and rate of CV, chromosomal abnormalities and other pathology diagnosed in departments of fetal medicine, and radiodiagnostics and prenatal cardiology was carried out in 893 fetuses and 253 newborns. Typical changes in the PO in the presence of isolated and multiple CM, chromosomal pathology of the fetus were determined. US criteria for diagnosis of normal and pathological development of PO have been clarified, a working classification has been developed. The diagnostic potential of PO pathology in the diagnosis of isolated and multiple VVR was evaluated. Indications for referral of pregnant women to specialized III level institutions are outlined. Local protocols and an algorithm for complex prenatal examinations and assessment of the prognosis in CM, taking into account the state of the PO, have been created. Characteristic changes in the morphology of the placenta in CM, chromosomal pathology of the fetus, and pathology of the PO were determined. The rate of complications during pregnancy, labor and neonatal period in cases of CM of the heart, urinary and central nervous systems was determined. A high rate of perinatal complications and disorders of newborns has been demonstrated, which should be taken into account when planning specialized care for pregnant women and newborns.
