The object of research is heteronanostructured polymorphic modifications of titanium dioxide in the form of nanoparticle TiO2 doped with atoms of metals (Sn, Fe) and nonmetals (B) and composite TiO2/AgI mixtures. The purpose of the work is to create photocatalysts of a new generation with improved structural and morphological characteristics based on heteronanostructured rutile and anatase with isomorphically substituted titanium atoms for metal and non-metal atoms and to apply them for photocatalytic water purification from man-made pollutants. Research methods – X-ray analysis (determination of phase composition, establishment of microstructure parameters according to the Rietveld method); IR spectroscopy (confirmation of structural and phase characteristics); scanning and transmission electron microscopy (determination of the morphology of nanoparticles); energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (elemental composition); Mössbauer spectroscopy (establishment of cation distribution); BET method (determination of specific surface and porosity parameters); thermal analysis (study of phase stability and dehydration processes); UV-visible spectroscopy (determination of dye concentrations in solutions). Photocatalysts of a new generation with improved structural and morphological characteristics were created based on heteronanostructured rutile and anatase with isomorphically substituted Ti atoms for metal and nonmetal atoms for use in photocatalytic water purification from pollutants. The new method of obtaining nanocomposite photocatalysts proposed by the authors of the project is based on low-temperature hydrolysis of inorganic titanium precursors. Purposeful creation of acid centers by modifying TiO2 with doping donor and acceptor impurity atoms allows to regulate the surface charge of TiO2 and significantly improves the redo Product Description popup.authors Mandzyuk Volodymyr Igorovych Mykytyn Ihor M Myroniuk Ivan F.
