 Mathematical models have been developed for theoretical studies of the operational properties of towed bus trains, rational parameters for evaluating the energy efficiency of a three-link bus train with a hybrid power plant have been substantiated, and a comparison of three-link bus trains of various layout schemes has been made in terms of movement stability indicators. The results of the work can be used in the fields of road transport and transport engineering. The implementation of the research results will contribute to the creation of a metrobus system in Ukraine, which will lead to a significant improvement in the situation with the transportation of passengers in large cities and will allow to completely abandon small route buses.
