Their occurrence increases with the increasing severity of the disease, which is determined by changes in carbohydrate metabolism, the timing and persistent elimination of hyperglycemia. The burden of war has a very negative impact on the health of mother and child with gestational diabetes. Women who have been resettled from the most dangerous places of residence are exposed to its extremely unfavorable effect. There is a close relationship between the course of pregnancy in patients with gestational diabetes and the state of the fetoplacental complex. It was found that its violations are manifested by endothelial vascular dysfunction, changes in hormonal function, circulatory disorders in various vascular pools of the fetus. The latter depend on the state of carbohydrate metabolism and appear before clinical complications occur. Based on the determination of the endothelial function of blood vessels, as well as ultrasonographic methods of research in women with gestational diabetes, early prognostic criteria for complications of pregnancy, fetal and neonatal disorders were developed. Taking into account the results of the study, as well as the analysis of modern literature, scientifically substantiated and improved therapeutic and preventive measures for women with gestational diabetes, aimed at improving the course and outcome of pregnancy for mother and child. The developed measures provide for the earliest possible detection of hyperglycemia and its stable correction, as well as the addition of biologically active substances such as magnesium and Larginine to conventional traditional methods of treatment.
