The purpose of the work at the second stage is to develop mathematical models to research body-to-platform fastening elements stress-strain state under operating loads and to evaluate these elements strength in operation. The method of research is the finite element method. The analysis of existing constructions of body-to-platform fastening elements in wagons with swap bodies has been carried out at the second stage. Proposals on the selection of fastening elements for domestic wagons with swap bodies have been developed. Finite-element models have been developed for the research of the stress-strain state of the elements of the platform wagon and the 45-foot container located on it, as well as the freight wagon with a swap body at static normative loads according to DSTU EN 12663-2:2018, taking into account the features of fastening the container to the platform wagon frame or a swap body to the wagon undercarriage frame and the presence of gaps in the fastening elements. The strength evaluation of the above structures elements in operation has been given. The directions for improving the constructions of the fastening elements of the swap body to the undercarriage frame of the wagon to ensure its strength have been determined. The results of the work obtained at this stage will be used in the future to develop recommendations for fastening elements that ensure the safety of transportation of various cargoes in the corresponding wagons with swap bodies.
