The object of the study is the effectiveness of the use of financial resources to ensure the provision of quality general secondary education in Ukraine. The subject of the research is economic and mathematical models for determining the significant influence of factors on the efficiency of the use of financial resources in the field of general secondary education. At the second stage of the work, the peculiarities of obtaining quality education in institutions of general secondary education were investigated and analyzed through the prism of educational indicators; information and methodological support for assessing the financial potential of regions has been developed; parameters and indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of the functioning of the financial system of the region are determined; mathematical models were developed for the analysis of the efficiency of the distribution and use of educational subvention funds for the remuneration of pedagogical workers; a regional analysis of the use of educational subvention funds and local budgets aimed at paying teachers' wages in 2021was carried out.
