Objective: To develop new approaches to the isolation of microbial metabolites - cellular and extracellular polymers and surfactants for technologies of low-waste production of environmentally friendly products with multifunctional properties, assessment of their practical potential. Research methods: biotechnological, microbiological, physicochemical, UV/vis, IR spectroscopic, scanning electron microscopy analysis, dynamic light scattering analysis. Results and their novelty. The productivity of bacterial strains for the polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) synthesis was increased due to the rationalization of the conditions for the cultivation of bacteria. For the first time, the possibility of improving the process of PHAs isolation with the use of rhamnolipids is shown. An increase in the yield and purity of the target products was shown. The method of creating films based on PHAs using a number of biocides was tested, and their antimicrobial properties were confirmed. A method of obtaining ethylthiosulfanilate nanoparticles using rhamnolipid biosurfactants was developed, the hydrodynamic dimensions of their micellar structures in aqueous solutions and polydispersity were determined. A high antimicrobial activity against the test bacteria of microorganisms was established. The effectiveness of the obtained biotechnological products (in particular, biopolymers, biosurfactants) for the restoration of territories destroyed as a result of military operations is shown. So, the prospects of the obtained microbial surfactances and biopolymers for antiseptic wound-healing and anti-burn dressings, protective films for food products, in disinfectants for veterinary medicine and medicine, in complex cleaning of the polluted environment have been determined.
