The goal of the second stage of the RW is to assess the current state of non-timber forest resources as a response to climate change. Research methods – a full set of approaches to the study of biodiversity – organismic, taxonomic, structural-functional, landscape-ecological and basin-based. The used methods were adapted for conducting research taking into account the ecological specifics of various types of non-timber forest resources. Scientific result: trends in the development of transformation of non-timber resources in natural and artificial forest ecosystems of the steppe zone of Ukraine were registered, which became the basis for creating a methodology for forecasting transformation processes occurring in non-timber resources under the influence of climate change.
